Although that would be enough for a single volume, it nevertheless delves further into a historical-theoretical perspective to present and analyze this – it turns out ambiguously understood – pair of notions. Indeed, it could be said that the book is merely an introduction to and orientation through the contemporary dismantling and recomposition of science, noticeable in the way science has understood its own role for the past few decades. As commentary on the reception of key theoretical (and not only theoretical) concepts, the volume can be read as a study of culture, or even a textbook in philosophy or sociology of science.
