Feminist theory Is for Everyone

Edited by Adriana Zaharijević, Katarina Lončarević

The collection Feminist Theory is for Everyone is a joint publication of IFDT and the Faculty of Political Science, created following a four-day conference held at IFDT in cooperation with the Center for Gender Studies FPN, entitled “Someone Said Feminism? Feminist Theory in Serbia Today”. The conference opened a wide range of issues that fall within the boundless field of feminist theory, bringing together truly diverse approaches from various disciplines. The porous limits of this collection are treated as its virtue, since its primary purpose is to gather in one place the work done in a given field, at a given time in the Serbian language. This hefty tome consists of twenty-four texts from the fields of literary theory, linguistics, cultural studies, legal and security theory, art theory, economics and practical politics, social theory, history, philosophy and pedagogy. It brings together academics from various scientific institutions, showing, among other things, the ways in which feminist theory penetrates numerous fields of scientific knowledge today.
