At the outset, the author presents the conceptual problems and limitations of Foucault’s work, with particular emphasis on the ambivalent status of the concept of subjectivity. These limitations are taken as productive points of theorization that make possible the construction of a different conceptual apparatus with the help of Lacanian psychoanalysis. Urošević then proceeds to the conceptualization of the neoliberal regime of domination, focusing on the way in which it regulates the psychic dynamics of individuals. Finally, the book discusses possible forms of political resistance to this regime, as well as the role of theoretical work in their construction.
