During this lecture we will deal with the problem of moral education. Is this kind of education necessary? Is it possible to realize such a project and, if so, who would be sufficiently competent to teach such a subject? In accordance with this question, another question arises, which is considered in great detail in the recent philosophical literature; namely, are there moral experts and what does moral expertise consist of? Finally, we will consider a problem of particular importance for the idea of moral education: whether such education can be achieved in a neutral way (in terms of impartial representation of different theories, ethical positions and issues) or moral education involves proposing (and perhaps even imposing) certain forms of behavior and practices?
