[Panel discussion] The Political Achievements of Zoran Đinđić (YugoLab)

The Institute for Philosophy and Social History of the University of Belgrade, in partnership with the Faculty of Political Sciences and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, is pleased to announce a panel discussion entitled “Political Achievements of Zoran Djindjic,” in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of his passing. The aim of this discussion is to examine the fundamental political perspectives of Zoran Djindjic, the former President of the Democratic Party in the 1990s and the first democratic prime minister of Serbia, through conversations with individuals who were involved in his political endeavors, as well as prominent figures from various social spheres. Additionally, the panel aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current political and social issues in Serbia, while analyzing the outcomes of developments in the past two decades. This will offer an opportunity for a critical evaluation of Djindjic’s political legacy and its relevance to contemporary society.
