[Promotion of the book] The Philosophy of Danko Grlić by Slađana Kavarić Mandić (CriticLab)
🗓 Mart 23 🕒 14:00 CET 🔹 IFDT
The book The Philosophy of Danko Grlić by author Slađana Kavarić Mandić presents an analysis and synthesis of the work of one of the most important Croatian and Yugoslav philosophers of the 20th century, a representative of the “Praxis” philosophy, who primarily dealt with aesthetics and the philosophy of art. The author shows Grlić’s contribution to shaping the demand for the creative transformation of human being, among other things, by thematizing his relationship to Friedrich Nietzsche, a thinker who is as inspiring to him as Karl Marx.
The book was co-published by Beletra from Zagreb, Most Art Jugoslavije from Belgrade and the Ćano Koprivica Foundation from Nikšić.
