A Glossary of Engagement
Edited by Igor Cvejić, Gazela Pudar Draško, Mark Lošonc
Engagement extends through various spheres of our reality, from private efforts, jobs, contracts, public appearances and participation in the social and political life of the community, to the execution of military commands. Across all these meanings, engagement seems to move between or transcend usual forms of determination, such as individual or collective, passive or active, duty-bound or free, etc.
A Glossary of Engagement looks at the structure of engagement through the different factors and ways in which engagement binds us: who is engaged (subjects of engagement); what is engaged in (fields of engagement); what are the basic forms and premises of engaged action; how is it at all possible and by what means; how does it take place and what does it lead to (outcomes)?
