This volume attempts contribute to the discussion about the nation, nationalism, and its inevitable attendant, enmity. In what sense have friendship and hostility gained new meanings, and what would those meanings be? Does nation-building always involve a category of a common enemy one has to fight, thereby developing the Politics of Enmity?
Figuring out the Enemy: Rethinking Serbian-Albanian Relations is an attempt to re-evaluate Serbian-Albanian mutual negative perceptions, to present a common past and tradition, as well as highlight both historical and current examples of cooperation.
