In a project with a regional focus on Serbia, Croatia, and Romania, the consortium of 11 institutions and organizations aims to develop target-group-specific methodologies for mapping the understanding of contemporary antisemitism and capacities to identify it, and conduct a study in three cities with many historical, societal, and cultural connections and similarities but also significant differences: Novi Sad (Serbia), Timișoara (Romania), and Rijeka (Croatia). After gathering and analyzing the results, the team will design and promote fact-based practical guidelines and strategic recommendations for national and regional policy/decision-makers on addressing antisemitism in line with the EU strategy on combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life.
