The ACT-2 project aims to strengthen the capacities of civil society organizations (CSOs) in Serbia by enhancing their sustainability, developing their support base, and promoting more active citizen engagement in public dialogue and participatory decision-making processes. The project places particular emphasis on the transformation of mission-driven CSOs, while encouraging cooperation among these organizations, as well as collaboration with public institutions, the private sector, and other relevant stakeholders.
The Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade (IFDT) participates in the project under Outcome 3 (Multi-sector dialogue and collaboration), which focuses on creating spaces for dialogue, partnership, and cooperation between civil society and other societal actors, particularly the academic community.
The overall objective of IFDT engagement is to provide expert and analytical support for the implementation of advocacy initiatives undertaken by partner organizations. This support involves introducing methodological rigor, using empirical data, and developing evidence-based recommendations, thereby improving the quality and strategic reach of advocacy activities.
