The Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory today mourns the passing of Prof. Dr. Dragoljub Mićunović, its longtime colleague and one of the founders and directors of the Centre for Philosophy and Social Theory, out of which the Institute grew.

Throughout his academic and distinguished public career, Dragoljub Mićunović remained recognized as an engaged intellectual and an important actor in the political and social life of Serbia. Through his philosophical work, public engagement, and unwavering commitment to democratic values, he has left a lasting mark on the contemporary political and intellectual history of this country.

The life and work of Dragoljub Mićunović serve as a reminder of the importance of dialogue, civic responsibility, and participation in the public sphere.
