Davor Ereš, a researcher at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade, has received an award for the realization of a project responding to the theme of the 19th Venice Architecture Biennale 2025, “Intelligence. Natural. Artificial. Collective.” He is awarded for innovation and contribution to the discipline of architecture..

At the award ceremony held on April 16 at the Grand Gallery of the Museum of Applied Arts, as part of the 48th Salon of Architecture, the author team consisting of Davor Ereš, Jelena Mitrović, Igor Pantić, Sonja Krstić, Ivana Najdanović, and Petar Laušević was awarded for innovation and contribution to the discipline of architecture. The exhibition project was developed through interdisciplinary research motivated by the theme “Intelligence. Natural. Artificial. Collective.” Building on this thematic framework, a team of architects, textile designers, and electrical engineers developed a project that resulted in both a catalogue and an exhibition architectural form. The research process foregrounds questions of materiality, energy, and change as potentials for continuous transformation, prompting reflection on architectural practice, collectivity, and their impact on society.
