The Holocaust and Philosophy
The collection of essays The Holocaust and Philosophy is an overview of the current state of the theoretical literature in Serbo-Croatian on the Holocaust, as well an effort to open up further research. The contributions are separated into three thematic units. The first comprises texts that examine approaches of various philosophic tendencies towards the Holocaust. The second block is dedicated to literary representations, descriptions, and reflections of the Holocaust. The final section in the volume could be said to have as its guiding thread a focus on what follows after the Holocaust: its consequences, some sort of an “explanation”, models of understanding it that render not only theory, but also practice meaningful, to the extent that it must exist in the shadow of one such cardinal crime.
