Author(s) Jelena Đurić Publisher Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade Published 2014 ISBN 978-86-82417-72-9 Pages 169 Edition Zasluga
This volume of essays is built around Zagorka Golubović’s endeavor to place her scientific research in the service of emancipatory social engagement, against all authoritarianism, political repression, and ideological dogma, that is, against injustice and inequality. The texts focus on her contributions, in particular in establishing sociocultural anthropology as a discipline, but they also consider her activist and public engagement side of her career. The volume analyzes some of the scientific debates in which Golubović participated, such as the development and reception of humanist Marxism, qualitative study of culture, epistemological problems of value.
