What is the relationship between the two domains – family and work, which largely constitute the daily lives of women and men? Are these domains mutually opposed or do they form a coordinated part of a larger system that operates according to clearly established principles? What consequences does this interrelationship have for men and for women, and does it perhaps open up the possibility of a different perspective that does not necessarily include difficulties, problems, and burdens? How can we today and here consider the old question of the relationship between the private and the public, and potentially change their meanings in areas where we recognize or closely feel their tensions and contradictions? This study aims to provide answers to these questions, based on data obtained from empirical research conducted in 2017 at the University of Belgrade.
