This book reveals a connection between the political transition in Serbia at the turn of the millennium and neo-traditionalist rhetoric that accompanied it. Slobodan Naumović takes a contextual approach to tradition and traditionalism, drawing on the ideas of Gershenkron, Moore, Bendix, Schiro, and Tilly, among other authors. A central aspect of the book is dedicated to an analysis of political symbols and myths that had a key role in the aforementioned process.
