Bursać Dejan

Dejan Bursać is a research associate at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory of the University of Belgrade. Mainly researching elections and political parties, he has published more than 50 papers and other contributions in academic journals and edited books, both in Serbia and abroad. He is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Law and Business Studies Dr. Lazar Vrkatić in Novi Sad, and a political consultant, working with candidates, political parties and CSOs at regional, national and local level. Previously, he worked at the Institute for Political Studies in Belgrade, and also did an internship at the Serbian parliament. He holds a PhD from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Political Sciences, with the thesis „The Impact of Party Ideology on Public Spending in Former Socialist Countries“. Also an avid football fan and a history buff.
