Markov Čedomir
Čedomir Markov is a research fellow at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade. He is a member of the Laboratory for Active Citizenship and Democratic Innovations and the Laboratory for Digital Society. His research focuses on current issues in political communication, such as the relationship between media and audiences in hybrid media and political environments, the role of media in democratic innovations, and media representations of marginalized social groups. He has published works in journals such as Journalism, Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, Journalism Practice, and Communication & Society. He participates in the Horizon Europe project “Nets4Dem: Network of Networks for Democracy” (2023–2026). In this project, he is the coordinator of the team that leads the work package “Connecting the Scattered Knowledge on Democratic Innovations.”
