Andrej Cvetić (1994) is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Political Science at Trinity College Dublin. Currently, Andrej is a Research Assistant on the project titled ‘Religious Group Involvement and Endorsement of Democratic Norms’ with Dr. Gizem Arikan as Principal Investigator. In his dissertation, Andrej is studying the influence of the electoral success of right-wing populist parties on democratic orientations of Muslims in European countries. Previously, Andrej obtained degrees from the Department of International Relations at Faculty of Political Sciences and from the Department of Sociology at Faculty of Philosophy, both at the University of Belgrade. In his theses, he studied the problems of competitive authoritarianism in security sector governance and political aspects of Yugonostalgia (for which he was rewarded with an annual “Dr Zoran Djindjic” Award). Andrej has also published several chapters in edited volumes, dealing with gender studies and regional security.
