Fatić Aleksandar
Aleksandar Fatić is Research Professor at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory of the University of Belgrade. He received his PhD in Philosophy from the Australian National University in Canberra in 1996, and has taught, in various capacities ranging from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor, at the University of South Australia in Adelaide, Charles University in Prague, Anglo-American Colleege in Prague, and other institutions until his return to Serbia. Upon return he had a lengthy employment stint at the Institute for International Politics and Economics, where he performed all institute functions, ranging from researcher to the Institute’ s Director, Head of the Research Board, and member of the Governing Board. Over the past years he has held numerous guest lectures and visiting positions, at institutions including University of Oxford (St. Antony’s College), King’s College in London, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), University of Helsinki, EBS University in Wiesbaden, Beijing Foreign Studies University, and numerous other universities. He specializes in integrative philosophy with an emphasis on philosophy of psychology and psychiatry, philosophical practice and political philosophy. He has been a Certified Counselor and Fellow of the American Philosopher Practitioners’ Association (APPA) since 2011. His personal website is http://aleksandarfatic.net.
