Hristov George
Đorđe Hristov is a research fellow at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory in Belgrade. He received his PhD from the Department for political theory and history of ideas at the University of Regensburg in 2017 for his thesis Politics and Immanence: State and History in Hegel and Deleuze. Main fields of interest include ancient political thought, modern contract theories, German idealism, political theory of the 20th century as well as French political thought of the 20th century. Main interests include political violence and war, archaism in modernity, fascism and totalitarianism, and the phenomenon of mutual recognition and imitation in the context of politicization of human relations.
