Ilić Vujo

Vujo Ilić is a research fellow at the Institute of Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade. He received his doctorate in political science from the Central European University in Budapest, in comparative politics. His research interest includes democracy, elections, and participation, as well as political conflicts and violence, focusing on Southeast Europe. He is engaged in several research projects, such as the Networks for Democracy (Nets4Dem) and Enlightened Trust (EnTrust), funded by the European Commission through the Horizon Europe program. At the IFDT, he is a member of the Laboratory for Active Citizenship ActiveLab. He was engaged as an expert in several international projects and as a consultant by international organizations. In the organization Crta, he participates as the leader of the analytical team in election observation, develops electoral recommendations, and designs surveys. He is the recipient of several awards, including the Central European University best dissertation Award (2020) and the Association for the Study of Nationalities best doctoral paper award (2016).
