Lakićević Ivan
Ivan Lakićević is a research assistant at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory and a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Belgrade. He completed his bachelor’s and master’s studies at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics at the University of Vienna, where, in October 2018, he successfully defended his master’s thesis titled “Vote Buying Through Public Employment“. After returning to Serbia, Ivan spent several years working at the Fiscal Council of the Republic of Serbia, where he participated in budget expenditure analyses (with particular focus on subsidies and social protection) and research on tax systems and income inequality. His main research interests involve issues concerning the interaction between social institutions and economic outcomes.
