Lipij Ana

Ana Lipij is a PhD student in philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, and a junior research assistant at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory. She graduated with a thesis on “Epistemological Status and the Methodological problems of Physicalism”, and defended her master’s thesis on “The problem of Consciousness and the Perceptual Role Theory.” The basic question from which she started her research and engagement is the question of the relationship between mind and body. She researches the problem of consciousness, the status of mental states and the theory of cognition; her areas of interest are Philosophy of Mind, Cognitive Sciences with Philosophy of Cognition, Phenomenology of Perception, Methodology and Philosophy of Science, Learning Theories and Artificial Intelligence.
