Mijatović Nevena

Nevena Mijatović (1996) is a PhD candidate at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, where she previously completed her undergraduate and master’s studies. Her broader area of interest is individual differences in various socially relevant aspects of human behavior. With her master’s thesis “Structure of social attitudes in adolescence and emerging adulthood”, she made it to the finals of the Katarina Marić Foundation competition for the best master’s thesis in psychology defended in the 2020/2021 school year in Serbia and received the award for the best presented thesis at the final conference of the competition. Since 2016 she has been an associate of the psychology seminar at the Petnica Science Center, where she holds workshops, lectures and mentors scientific research works of motivated high school students. After four years of work at the Trag Foundation (2019-2023) on monitoring and evaluation of civil activism, philanthropy and the women’s rights in Serbia and the region, she decided to formalize her scientific and research engagement as a researcher assistant at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory. She is primarily engaged within the Laboratory for Active Citizenship (ActiveLab).
