Milosavljević Dušanka
Dusanka is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade and junior researcher at the Institute of Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade. She finished her basic academic studies in sociology in 2018 at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, after which she mastered integral urbanism at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, dealing with urban acupuncture of open public spaces in Pescara, Italy. During her studies, she was engaged as an interviewer and interviewer on numerous researches conducted by the Institute for Sociological Research. From 2017 until today, she has been the executive editor of the Serbian edition of the Le Monde Diplomatique magazine, where she also publishes her own pieces. She is a member of the PerspectLab.
Her field of interest is urban sociology, the relationship between society and space, the production of space from below, urban commons and self-organized socio-spatial practices. Other fields of interest are sociology of art and culture, critical sociology and public sociology.
