Radovanović Bojana

Bojana Radovanović is a research fellow at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory and a coordinator of the Laboratory for Philanthropy, Solidarity and Care Studies – SolidCare lab. She is also engaged as a lecturer at the master’s program Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management, School for International Training. She was previously employed at the Institute of Economic Sciences, and she also worked for seven years as the coordinator for Serbia of the Regional Research Promotion Program in the field of social sciences (RRPP), the University of Fribourg and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. She received her PhD from the Centre of Development Studies, University of Cambridge, where she previously obtained her MPhil. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade and completed her master’s studies in philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of the same university. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on philanthropy, civil society, applied ethics, and capability-based approach. She has published dozens of scientific and professional papers and participated in numerous domestic and international projects. She is the author of the monograph What are we talking about when we talk about philanthropy? (Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, 2021). Her paper Conceptualising and Measuring Philanthropy. Evidence from Serbia. Was awarded for as the best conference paper at the Ninth International Scientific Conference of the European Research Network on Philanthropy (ERNOP), held in Basel in 2019.
