Ševo Andrej

Andrej Ševo is a research assistant at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory of the University of Belgrade, and a PhD student at the Faculty of Political Sciences. He completed his undergraduate studies in International Relations and his regional master’s studies of the United States at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade. As a Chevening scholar, he obtained his master’s degree in International Relations from University College London (UCL).

His thesis on the influence of the American far-right in Serbia was awarded The International Relations Prize by the UCL Institute of the Americas as the best work in the field of international relations for 2022. As a researcher, Andrej is a member of the Laboratory for Active Citizenship and Democratic Innovations. His research interests include foreign policy, with a focus on Euro-American relations, and political radicalism in the context of globalization.
