Khōrein Issue Presentation – “Phenomenon”
The editorial team of Khōrein: Journal for Architecture and Philosophy is hosting an online discussion dedicated to the themed issue “Phenomenon” (Vol. III, No. 2), guest edited by James Dodd.
The issue approaches the phenomenon as a philosophical problem of appearing: through the relations of background and figure, body and publicity, and affect and material encounter, architecture is treated as a condition of experience and a practice in which the world can be given at all.
The event will feature contributions by Philip Schauss, Indra Kagis McEwen, Sophie Loidolt, and Filip Mattens, as well as interview participants Aura Luz Melis, Petra Blaisse, and Wolf D. Prix (Coop Himmelb(l)au), together with the guest editor.
The full journal issue is available at: https://khorein.ifdt.bg.ac.rs/index.php/ch/issue/view/8/7
The event is organized by Khōrein: Journal for Architecture and Philosophy in cooperation with the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory.
