🗓 March 7 🕒 10:30 CET 🔹 IFDT/online
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Zoran Đinđić death, a round table entitled “Thought of Zoran Djindjic: Philosophical and Political Perspectives” is being organized by the Institute for Philosophy and Social History of the University of Belgrade, in collaboration with the Faculty of Political Sciences and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. The aim of the round table is to present and critically analyze the fundamental philosophical perspectives of Zoran Djindjic, along with his reception in the Yugoslav and Serbian public, from various viewpoints. Additionally, the round table intends to problematize Djindjic’s public engagement as a critical intellectual in an authoritarian order, amidst socio-political transformations, war dramas, and post-socialist reality.
Participants: Dr Petar Bojanić (Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory), Dr Novica Milić (Faculty of Media and Communications), Dr Lino Veljak (Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb), Dr Aleksandar Molnar (Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade), Dr Aleksandar Miletić (Institute for Recent History of Serbia), Dr Ivica Mladenović (Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory), Dr Bojan Dimitrijević (Institute for Contemporary History), Dr Slaviša Orlović (Faculty of Political Sciences) and Dr Dunja Melčić.
