At the Faculty of Law of the Union University in Belgrade, on February 26, 2024, a round table will be held about the book Self-Management in Construction, the French Left and the Yugoslav Model (1948-1981), by Professor Frank Georgi from the University of Paris-Saclay. An expert in the history of social movements, Frank Georgi has explored in his study a rare example of the reception of Yugoslav political ideas in the West, which deserve a new critical review in the time of re-examining contemporary capitalism. The round table is organized in collaboration between the Faculty of Law of the Union University, the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, the University of Belgrade, the publisher Akademska Knjiga, and with the support of the French Institute in Serbia.

Speakers at the round table will include: the book's translator, historian Veljko Stanić, Dušan Marković (FPN), Srđan Milošević (PFUUB), Dragoljub Popović (PFUUB), Ivica Mladenović (IFDT), Pavle Antonijević (IFDT), Aleksandar Kraus and Nebojša Šarkić (PFUUB). The round table will be moderated by Marko Božić.
