Aleksandra Knežević, a researcher at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade, was a visiting fellow at the Egenis – Centre for the Study of Life Sciences at the University of Exeter in March 2026, as a recipient of a European Philosophy of Science Association (EPSA) Fellowship.

During her stay in Exeter, Aleksandra worked on her doctoral research, which examines scientific practices in evolutionary psychology, with a particular focus on the role of social responsibility in science. As part of her visit, she presented the findings of her research to the Egenis research community and participated in its regular academic activities.

The EPSA Fellowship programme is aimed at early-career researchers from Central and Eastern Europe and supports one-month research visits to leading institutions in Western Europe, with the goal of fostering international collaboration in the field of philosophy of science.
