Aleksandar Linc will speak about the pace with which technology is changing the world around us as fascinating, that even people who are deeply involved in tech cannot do regular follow-ups. This bring us to the important question – how we can ensure that not „tech savvy“ people can understand influence of the technoglogy on our daily life. More so, how can we ensure that generations behind us and those to come after us do not become more than mere observers in a world that changes every second.

For this reasons, it is very important that the wider social spectrum receives real-time information related to the development of technologies, so that they can contribute to their proper use from their own expertise.

Metaverse, as such, is not a new concept. The only reason we haven’t talked about it before is the fact that technology hasn’t advanced enough. Now, we have the opportunity to see and consider what impact will have this and similar technologies on the development of society and individuals at different ages.

As part of this lecture, Aleksandar will introduce us to basic concepts, demystify real problems and common misconceptions about technology, and together we will open many questions related to the further use of technology and how each of us can contribute to the ultimate goal – technology that will be used for the benefit of a society that creates more equal opportunities for individuals.
