We are pleased to announce the publication of the new issue of Khōrein: Journal for Architecture and Philosophy (Vol. 3, No. 2, 2025), the thematic issue PHENOMENON, guest-edited by Professor James Dodd.
The issue opens with an editorial by James Dodd, followed by contributions by Philip Schauss, Indra Kagis McEwen, Joseph Bedford, Sophie Loidolt, and Filip Mattens. It continues with a series of outstanding interviews, among which we would especially highlight a previously unpublished conversation between Jacques Derrida and Coop Himmelb(l)au—a significant contribution to contemporary philosophy of architecture, particularly in relation to ongoing reflections on phenomenon, form, and space. The issue also features interviews with Kengo Kuma, Wolf D. Prix, Alberto Pérez-Gómez (in conversation with Robert Kirkbride), as well as Petra Blaisse and Aura Luz Melis. The final Reviews section presents four engaged and thematically relevant book reviews by Simone Ferracina, Andreas Lechner, Susanne Stacher, and Richard Lee Peragine.
