The Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory at the University of Belgrade is one of this year’s recipients of a donation of books on Japan, awarded by the Nippon Foundation through the “Read Japan” program.
A book donation ceremony took place on May 23, 2024, at the IFDT, attended by Tetsuya Tsubota, Counselor at the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Serbia, Kaori Ogura, Cultural Attaché, and Yoshiaki Nagata, Assistant Resident Representative at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Since its inception in 2008, the “Read Japan” program has provided over 1,300 institutions worldwide with books about Japan. This latest donation enriches the IFDT library with 16 titles covering political science, international relations, history, art, and culture.
