Khōrein: Journal for Architecture and Philosophy is a recently established academic journal published by the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory. The journal is dedicated to the dialogue between architecture and philosophy and the problematization of key concepts and protocols that allow for the connection between the two disciplines. In that sense, the most important word in the journal’s name could be the conjunction “and” – a word that assumes the possibility of connecting the two disciplines but does not reveal the complexity of such a connection. This is why the inaugural double issue of Khōrein thematized the word “and” in the phrase “architecture and philosophy.”
