The implementation of the MINIPART project, supported by the Prizma program of the Science Fund, began on January 3, 2024.
Within the PRIZMA program, announced by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, researchers from the Institute for Architecture and Urban Planning of Serbia (IAUS) have been granted funding for a project in the field of social sciences and humanities, titled MINIPART – “Improving Participation in Spatial Planning of Mining Areas.” The project will run from 2024 to 2027.
The project leader is Dr. Tamara Maričić, Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Architecture and Urban Planning of Serbia. The project team also includes:
- Dr. Marijana Pantić (IAUS)
- Dr. Milena Toković (Faculty of Geography, University of Belgrade)
- Prof. Dr. Milovan Vuković (Technical Faculty in Bor, University of Belgrade)
- Doctoral candidate Dušanka Milosavljević, Research Trainee at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade.
External collaborators include:
- Dr. Ana Perić Momčilović (School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy, University College Dublin)
- Dr. Juha Kotilainen (Faculty of Social Sciences and Business Studies, University of Eastern Finland).
