Combining an international, national, regional and local approach, the authors shed light on the language ideologies and educational practices of minority languages. Furthermore, based on contemporary empirical research, the authors critically examine the adaptation of educational practices to a multilingual reality. The thematic collection bears witness to discontinuity and continuity: by looking at the past and the present, it offers possible models and perspectives for the future.
