[Panel discussion] CZKD, Nova planska praksa i Tačka komunikacije – Demystifying Planning Procedures
🗓 3. March 🕒 12:00pm 🔹 IFDT/online
At the panel discussion on March 3, 2022, at 12 p.m., at the Institute of Philosophy and Social Theory, we will present the motives and results of research conducted in the last two years by organizations CZKD, Nova planska praksa, Tačka komunikacije and Polekol.
They worked on the analyzes of legal and institutional procedures of urban plans in Belgrade; on the analysis of selected case studies and on the processes of defining and implementing public interest and recommendations to improve the process of participation in the development and adoption of planning documents.
We will also discuss two publications that emerged from these studies:
“Towards Collaborative Urban Development Management: Interactive Urbanism” and “Public at a Distance – Democracy in Crisis: Analysis of Pandemic Planning Procedures”, as well as the online educational platform Interactive Urbanism (.com).
We will speak about decisions on spatial development, potential ways to reduce the distance between the public and planning procedures, participatory city planning, as well as how to inform and educate citizens about the space that surrounds them. We consider these topics a common interest of the academy, experts, decision makers, the civil sector, but also of all citizens of Belgrade and Serbia.
