[Workshop] The Divisive Urban and Ecological Legacies along Belgrade’s Waterfront (PerspectLab)
🗓 Feb 13-14 🕒 10:00 CET 🔹 IFDT
The 2.5 days workshop will consist of one visit to the Belgrade Waterfront and a 2-day internal workshop among experts chosen to discuss this topic.
The main aims of the workshop are to help better understand the historical legacies and governance behind the redevelopments of the Belgrade Waterfront from the NGO, civic organisation, and activist perspective. This will also provide a broad picture of the ‘voices’ that have been silenced/eliminated from the re-development process and the ways in which this has affected urban ecological processes. Also, through diagrammatic analysis and short films, the analysis from workshops and site will address the ways in which the re-development is affecting the ecology and micro-climate in Belgrade.
The agents and experts involved are:
– Nikolina Bobić (University of Plymuth)
– Sanja Iguman (IFDT, Laboratory for Theory, Creation and Politics of Space).
– Iva Čukić (Collective Ministry of Space)
– Ana Perić (ETH Zurich)
– Maja Ćurčić and Marko Đukić (Art Aparat, non-academic organisation)
– Aleksandar Obradović (Philopolitics, non-academic civic organisation)
