The long-term goal of the project is to establish an Academic Policy Centre (APC) which will develop policy-relevant research within the regions of Central Eastern (CEE) and Southeastern Europe (SEE) focusing on the universities and university-relevant public policy.
Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory is leading a project on behalf of the Regional Network of Centers for Advanced Studies in Southeast Europe (RECAS). RECAS is the flagship initiative of the Rectors Forum of Southeast Europe and Western Balkans, which gathers 30 universities that declare strong commitment to operate the Forum as a platform that develops concepts, co-ordinates measures and jointly advocates for European and regional collaboration, and European integration in the area of science, research and education.
