Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory is leading a project on behalf of the Regional Network of Centers for Advanced Studies in Southeast Europe (RECAS). RECAS is the flagship initiative of the Rectors Forum of Southeast Europe and Western Balkans, which gathers 30 universities that declare strong commitment to operate the Forum as a platform that develops concepts, co-ordinates measures and jointly advocates for European and regional collaboration, and European integration in the area of science, research and education.

At the 8th Meeting of the Rectors’ Forum of Southeast Europe and the Western Balkans, held on May 30-31 in Sarajevo, an agreement to establish the Regional Network of Centers for Advanced Studies (RECAS) was signed.
