Branković Marija

Marija Branković is a research associate at the Institute for philosophy and social theory and an associate professor at the Faculty of media and communications in Belgrade.

She researches the psychology of human-animal interactions, social identities and their psychological foundations, especially in post-conflict societies, as well as psychological bases and consequences of irrational beliefs. In addition, she serves as a social psychology ambassador of the European association of social psychology to promote the benefits of social psychology and contribute to the further international integration of the region of South and East Europe.

She is devoted to a socially engaged science and the effort to apply scientific insight to create a society for the benefit of humans, other animals, and the environment.
