Net4Dem: Network of Networks for Democracy 2026

Nets4Dem connects researchers, practitioners, decision-makers and civil society organisations in Europe and beyond that are committed to making democratic innovation more accessible, effective and firmly embedded in institutions. The project’s distinctive approach focuses on expanding and strengthening connections between existing actors and networks already active in the field. In its new phase, Nets4Dem is developing research sprints, pilot programmes in Łódź and Leipzig, youth labs, multilingual training and digital support for decision-makers. IFDT contributes to connecting and systematising knowledge on democratic innovation, further developing the Knowledge Database on Democratic Innovation and translating research findings into practical resources for researchers, practitioners, decision-makers and policymakers.
